Knitting Anyone?

Tonight I am joining some friends of mine in a knitting group at a house belonging to a couple of old Welsh ladies.  I will be borrowing needles and yarn as I'm new am an not about to waste money on beautiful hand-spun yarn as of yet.  The last time, and only time, I picked up knitting needles was back in 1994 in my 4th grade homeroom class.  I really liked it, and even stayed in for recess to knit, but when I moved halfway through the year they wouldn't allow me to take my knitting with me.

Happy Friday!

I'm looking forward to getting outside, even if its raining.  One thing working in a cube all day really makes you appreciate is the outdoors....especially if you don't have a window.

As a little update: I am loving my new job.  I got my first paycheck today, Yay!  Looking on the bright side like I do, I pretty much get paid to sit around and listen to audio books.  Yes, yes....I do actually do work but time goes by so fast when listening to audio books....its wonderful!  hehe

P.S. I'm loving these dogs!
